I stepped on many of these mines. Wish I would have read it sooner or thought they were a possibility. I think this book was directed at me - especially how God can easily see when you are off course and pull you back online even if it means you suffer a setback it is all for your overall benefit and he wouldn't do it if his relationship with you was a waste of his time. Sometimes we have to be shook to wake up. I know I did!

Excellent

As always, Dr. Stanley provides us with a simple and thoughtful way to conduct our lives as Christians, in his unique vivaceous and straightforward manner. Everyone of us confront those "landmines", and landmines they are, for we don't notice them until we are faced with the damage and consequences.
I recommend it to all: those who are new to the Christian life, and those who have become confident in their faith and, precisely because of that confidence, no longer feel vulnerable to the dangers to which we are all exposed. This book is a good reminder.
